The thesis aimed to: demonstrate the role of parallel investigations in uncovering crimes and combating corruption in Iraq, and to study Iraqi legislation related to parallel investigations and the extent to which they respond to the requirements of transparency and justice.
The thesis concluded that administrative investigations are not merely a punitive measure; Rather, it is an opportunity for learning and improvement. However, its success remains dependent on the integrity and impartiality of the investigative committee, and its commitment to transparency and fairness.
