Two teachers from the College of Law and Political Science participate in an international scientific conference at the College of Law at the University of Basra

The two teachers at the College of Law and Political Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Salam Muayyad Sharif and Assistant Lecturer Alaa Bahaa Omar, participated in the twelfth international scientific conference, which was held by the College of Law/University of Basra in cooperation with Shatt al-Arab University College and under the title Legal Challenges for Applications of Artificial Intelligence and Modern Technologies on Saturday. The two teachers participated in their research titled: (The effects of artificial intelligence on the international community and the extent of international responsibility for its uses).

The research included the most important legal and military implications facing the international community in light of artificial intelligence technologies, how public international law compatible between most of the advantages of modern technologies and the risks and their reduction, how to establish international rules for international responsibility for the damage and error caused by these technologies, and how to oblige the international community to respect the rule of law.
