Two researchers from the College of Law and Political Science obtain acceptance to publish a joint scientific research in an international journal

The two teachers at the College of Law and Political Science at the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Salwa Ahmed Maidan and teacher Thamer Reda Ali, obtained acceptance to publish a joint scientific research in the international journal Research Journal I Advanced Humanities, which is classified within the Scopus database.
The research examined the role of regional organizations in combating the crime of money laundering.

The aim of the research is to clarify the nature of the crime of money laundering, identify international documents to combat the crime of money laundering, explain the nature of the international means used by international organizations in combating the crime of money laundering, and determine the effectiveness and extent of conformity of the Iraqi Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Law No. (39) of 2015 with International agreements.
The research recommended that the study seek to conclude an international agreement through the solidarity of international organizations, which would allow creating a legal framework to combat the crime of money laundering.
